SPUD'S History
41_SpudDriveIn3.jpg

Spuds Waterfront Grill started as a hole-in-the-wall potato joint by Peter and Gail Mico, known lovingly by locals as Spuds. There would be a line at the door and around the corner for our extensive list of homemade soups, fresh rotisserie meats, heaping fresh salads, crafted sandwiches, or baked Idaho potatoes with creative and gourmet toppings. The original Spuds isn’t entirely different from the established  favorite on the water it is today. In fact, a select few of our trademark dressings haven’t changed one bit. What you will find is a sophisticated atmosphere and menu that has endured the test of time, thanks to the creative kitchen with a deep love for fresh, handmade food and no problems with evolution.
